When I was living at my associate Mike's house I had an experience on a couch after work with several people sitting around a stereo stuck in the couch listening  to a  CD someone had ordered for one of my friends. Instead of the Album that was ordered however, a different disc had mistakenkly been sent to the house. This disc, although labled by the cat that recieved it as "a mistake", turned out to be one of the best musical experiences that I can recall ever having. The reason I say such a proposterous thing is simple; "Sparkle Classic" is a fantastic album by reason that all the elements of a truly fantastic album are present... musically, lyrically, humorously and intellectually within Grand Buffet's debut album with a pink cover and liner notes that  when read make one laugh and think and laugh,  or atleast I did with my me minded make of everything and American sense of silliness. Regardless of  cultural perspective though, it would be difficult for anyone to deny the innovative musical compositions that these two cats who I have no idea about have created and copied for the world to listen to and soak in.  Thick Beats. Deep beats. Simple beats. Resonant electronic cacophonies concocted with some musical insight, some raw feeling. Words written with rhyming not in mind. Lyrics written with more importance obviously placed on flow and getting out what needed to be expressed as opposed to rhyming and fullfilling the stereotypical requirements of an emcee that most "hip hop fans" these days hold so close and use so much, these requirements and expectations people have for other people who participate in creating music of  a specific Genre.  These two Anticon Affiliated artists are making the words with honesty and humor. Lyrics that continually flow with and excite the sharply sloppy masterfully messy musical medleys made by these two DJ/Producer/MC's. Poetry with these words, and strangely acoustic- authentic sounding  synthetically synthesized melodic music beneath bold rythmic rhyme configurations. Beautiful. Innovative. Evolving. Experimentation. Honesty. Lots of soul on the record in one way or another.  Avant-garde hip hop. Paints lots if pictures with many open option for interpretaion and interaction. Full of energy too. Some fresh shit to me. ... Best track is number two.
